Do I need a credit card to start?

No. You can run the questionnaire and generate your first doc on the free tier with no card required. Upgrade when you want automation.

What does "auto-update" actually mean?

When a PR merges to your main branch, or a policy doc changes in Google Drive, or someone joins or leaves your Google Workspace — Onboard detects the change, analyzes its impact, and updates the affected sections of your onboarding doc automatically. You review before it publishes.

Can I connect GitHub without Google Workspace?

Yes. Each integration is independent. You can connect just GitHub, just Google Workspace, just Google Drive, or any combination. The Questioner agent works without any integrations.

How does the Google Workspace sync work?

We use the Google Workspace Admin SDK (Directory API) with domain-wide delegation. We check for org chart changes every 6 hours — new users, departures, role changes, department changes. You stay in control of what gets published.

Is my data used to train AI models?

No. Your questionnaire responses and generated documents are stored in your own Firebase project. We use the Gemini API to generate content, but your data is not used for model training.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel from your billing settings at any time. You keep access until the end of your billing period. No questions asked.
